They made the heist of the century - they just didn’t know it.

Stealing Rembrandt is a Danish film directed by Jannik Johansen and starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) and Lars Brygmann, that follows Mick and Tom, an unlikely father-son team of petty thieves, who have been hired to steal a painting from a museum. By accident, however, they steal the wrong painting: Denmark's only original Rembrandt masterpiece, worth millions.

Premiering at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival, the film was distributed by Nordisk Film, and received several nominations and awards at festivals worldwide, including Best Film at the 2004 Bodil Awards, and Best Film at the 2004 Robert Festival.
